Best woman in the VLN

Jasmin Preisig is Driver of the Year

Jasmin Preisig was crowned female Driver of the Year at the end-of-year event in the VLN Endurance Championship at the Nürburgring. The 27-year-old Swiss ended the season in 143rd place out of 841 competitors, making her the best female driver in the field. “I am very happy and proud to receive this award. Next season I will push really hard and am looking to do even better,” she said at the event at the Nürburgring.

Preisig competed in two different classes this year: she started the season in the SP3T class with the “Girls only” team, with whom she claimed several podium finishes. Over the course of the season, she joined the “Max Kruse Racing” team and again enjoyed multiple podiums with her team-mate Loris Prattes (D) in the TCR class. She shared the Golf GTI TCR with Andy Gülden (D) and Benny Leuchter (D) in the final two races of the season.
