The International Automobile Federation FIA has defined a maximum price for a car that is ready for use in the R5 category. This price currently stands at 190,000 Euro plus VAT per car (asphalt version).

Yes. You can book (at a fee) technical support from Volkswagen Motorsport employees (engineers, mechanics, etc.) for outings at tests and rallies.

Yes. We offer all new customers a technical introduction with our engineers when they collect their car. This usually lasts 30 to 90 minutes. All customers also receive a detailed user manual in Papierform and auf einem USB-access to the customer portal.

The data logger (EVO5) must be purchased independently from Memotec. However, Volkswagen Motorsport does offer a “Scrutineering Data Logger Support” for simpler installation, which, upon request, can already be installed before the car is delivered.
No. There are currently no plans to make a tuning kit available.
